Job Summary:
As an Senior User Experience (UX) Designer, you help define and drive the future of Magnite design. You work with product managers, engineers and the UX team to identify and help facilitate product direction, design simple solutions for complex UX ecosystems across multiple platforms and advocate continuously to improve the platform UI and user experience by facilitating an insights-driven design process that aims at measurable outcomes while defining the design standards and development tools for our product & engineering teams.
As part of the User Experience team, you'll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with engineering, product management and account managers to bring it to life. You will utilize a full range of skills including, user research/interviews, wireframing, prototyping, and high fidelity design to bring these experiences to life. Most importantly, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience of publishers, advertisers, and brand-owners alike.
As a Senior UX Designer you will:
Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, customers, and other stakeholders to introduce, iterate, and clarify requirements
Translate complex requirements into easy user workflows
Utilize and collect quantitative data, qualitative feedback, user research, competitive analysis and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product
Create user stories, personas, storyboards, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, user flows, information architecture diagrams, or other artifacts required to build shared understanding across cross-functional teams
Create layouts, comps, and prototypes, to communicate vision and final requirements to internal stakeholders and teams
Conduct user research and usability tests with internal and external clients.
Analyze, summarize, and present findings from user tests and interviews to stakeholders
Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively conducting and participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
Advocate for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, usage data, and research findings.
Work closely with cross-functional team members to guide execution and navigate technical constraints and tradeoffs while bringing UX/UI designs to life
Our ideal candidate has:
At least 5+ years of experience in UX Design
Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for complex web applications or enterprise software (preferably experience designing and building data visualizations)
Strong understanding and experience in user-centered design methods and best practices - and you're always looking to improve on your process
Ability and willingness to work with stakeholders in international time zones
Experience in conducting usability testing
Knowledge of Adobe XD is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
Additional preferred requirements:
B2B and AdTech experience
Knowledge in Google analytics or similar behavioral analytics platforms
Knowledge of CSS and Javascript
