Technical Program Manager, Social Impact - Charitable Giving

Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.**Summary:** Mission of the Social Impact team at Facebook is to unlock people s limitless potential for good, empowering everyone to make the world a better place through the Facebook Family of Apps. Social Impact s work spans across several domains including Charitable Giving, Civic, Climate, Equity, Community Help and Health. The Charitable Giving team within Social Impact focuses on creating a culture of global generosity by inspiring people around the world to give. The team believes strongly that Facebook can play an important role in connecting helpers (donors) with seekers (non-profit organizations). As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Charitable Giving team, you will play an integral role working closely with the product teams to understand fundraising moments & inspirations, non-profit & donor audiences, finance/tax regulations & payment ecosystems, engage with internal teams (legal, policy, privacy, ops) and external partners. You will also be responsible for leading the coordination and execution across many of Facebook s key teams (Instagram, Newsfeed, Ads, Integrity, AI), driving company strategic campaigns (Giving Tuesday) and data/content integrity initiatives. Supporting causes that people care about is strategic to both Social Impact and Facebook, and Facebook users have now raised more than US$5B through this platform. This role allows for a high degree of ownership of processes and solutions, along with the opportunity to make positive global change every day.**Required Skills:** 1. TPMs at Facebook are expected to independently dive deep into domains: collaborate with subject matter experts, partners, and key internal product stakeholders: provide tools and services that will increase efficiency and improve the productivity and experience of users and the business teams they work with: ruthlessly prioritize and drive execution2. Social Impact is consistently redefining how social experiences and platforms can bring big changes within communities or countries, and we need technical program managers that are ready to do the same**Minimum Qualifications:** 3. 8+ years of experience in technology program/product management or managing software/systems engineering4. Familiarity or experience with product, project, process management5. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience6. Knowledge of software development processes and best practices, and with project and issue tracking systems7. Track record of operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner8. Experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations. Includes working with and communicating with multiple partner teams and cross-functional partners**Preferred Qualifications:** 9. Background or interest in fundraiser platforms, payments ecosystems, and/or advertising systems10. Experience working in a fast-paced, tech focused, web/internet start-up environment with proactive approach to driving impact at the org and company level11. Experience with software development lifecycle, technical execution, data and database design, implementing new tools and change management for large company wide programs12. Experience owning & articulating roadmaps, navigate ambiguity, work independently with directors, leads, partners to drive technical strategy and core vision13. Knowledge in influencing org leadership and stakeholders, negotiating trade-offs to drive forward progress14. Experience engaging with engineering, data science, data engineering, research and product owners to understand program requirements and lead execution15. Track record in successfully executing across a large number of cross-functional partners, especially other T/PM, SWE, UXR, DS, DE and Ops teams16.
