Position Overview The Information Technology division is responsible for global technology strategy and applications, corporate systems, infrastructure, and operations for the company’s worldwide media portfolio. The IT portfolio includes technology for Broadcast and Cable TV, Universal Pictures, News, Parks and Resorts, Sports and Olympics, Digital, Media Labs, and Sales, Research and Analytics, and NBCUniversal’s International group. The division is comprised of a team of technologists who are responsible for partnering with the lines of business to drive their individual technology strategies, as well as maintaining a solid core technical foundation, enabling the company to manage financial & HR systems, email, network, data and technical service centers, etc. The Sr. Analyst, Business Engagement, in conjunction with the Manager, Business Engagement, will serve as the liaison and trusted advisor between NBCU Studio Operations, based in Universal City, CA, and Enterprise Technology (ET) which provides IT Infrastructure (network, compute, storage, telecom, workplace, and operations) services. This position reports to the Manager, Business Engagement. This role will serve as a point of contact for Studio Operations and will help represent ET strategies, services, and capabilities executing on key projects. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and project management skills. Also important is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships both within ET and Studio Operations as well as interact with diverse stakeholders and partners with a “business relationship” mindset. While a strong technical foundation is essential for this role, the Sr. Analyst, Business Engagement, will also be expected quickly to develop deep business acumen and understand the strategic objectives, major events, and pressures for Studio Operations. Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications B.S./B.A. degree in related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years’ work experience in related field Minimum 3 years of experience working on infrastructure related projects with proven record of successful completion Solid documentation skills and proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project or related applications Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate with senior leadership Results- and goal-oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete Appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables Strong character exhibiting company core values: Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Pioneering Spirit, and Ownership Deep understanding of application and infrastructure technologies Eligibility Requirements Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered.
