Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Analyst. In this role, the Research Analyst will work in the Department of Population Health, to oversee and support mathematical modelling research focused on comparative effectiveness and decision science to address a variety of topical areas including, but not limited to, HIV, HCV, and opioid use. This is a dynamic position involving coordinating active studies, implementing new projects, and developing new research proposals. A successful applicant will be able to work independently with diverse colleagues and staff at all levels, and comfortable in the academic medical center environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Education and Training: At least 2 full years of work experience, preferably in public health or medical research. Experience and Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines. Strong writing and presentation skills. Familiarity with literature review and data synthesis. Aptitude for quantitative research methods. Experience with analysis of quantitative data preferred. Facility with software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and statistical software. Characteristics: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Professional in nature and demeanor. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work preferred
