We are looking for an office manager to manage an internal medicine and cardiology office located in the clinics right next to each other. About 9 employees and 3 total providers. We want someone with at least 2 years of experience in Medical office management. The person should be very nice, personable, and patient, yet independent and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure smooth communication with referring doctors offices, and customers to help and grow our practice. Comprehensive knowledge of human resources management and rules and regulations for staff management. Hiring and firing, keeping a tab on daily productivity and training of staff and office personnel are absolutely needed Keeping up with the official licenses and credentialing, policies and procedures medical and office supplies and equipment and rules and regulations with HIPPA OSHA, etc.also. Knowledge of Prior authorizations for procedures and insurance and benefits verification is required along with knowledge of EMR. Should have good computer and spreadsheets, and troubleshooting skills.
The manager is not required to do the billing, but keeping in contact with the billing company regarding claims and denials and rejections to ensure smooth and timely collections of payments will be needed so that mistakes at the front office can be prevented.
Manager will need to ensure excellent patient and physician satisfaction.
Salary will be competitive and dependant on the skills and qualities and experience of the person. Excellent retirement benefits.
Multiple language proficiency is a plus but not required.
References will be needed from prior doctors that you have worked with or management.
