As a maintenance apprentice you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provide support for: base skill maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and service to production tasks.
• Assist in the documentation and implementation of maintenance procedures as outline by skilled crafts.
• Provide assistance to skilled maintenance crafts.
• Assist in the establishment and maintaining of critical spare parts inventory in support of equipment reliability and up-time.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one (1) year of maintenance experience working on industrial and commercial machinery in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime and holidays as needed

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Minimum two (2) years of vocational school.
• Good mechanical aptitude and skills are required.
• Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
• Must pass MSTB evaluation battery.
