DirectViz Solutions is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission needs for commercial and government clients. We are looking to hire a full-time Junior/Mid-level IT Support Technician. This position is located in San Diego, Ca., and requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a NAC clearance.
To perform the required database management support services, the individual shall have knowledge and experience in the area of web-based technologies and shall have technical writing capabilities to maintain all training materials, documentation, data analysis and reporting involved with the TOPS application. Prioritize queries and information requests for submission to Program Manager. Administer implementation of changes to application(s), create, circulate and maintain follow-on related training materials within document library. Coordinate electronic delivery of all materials to/via Network Account Administrators. Knowledge in direct support for application(s) user base, and appointed network administrators, which includes Help Desk support and also required to properly organize, illustrate, and interpret related materials and data of the subject matter in support of updates (recommendations and implementations).
The individual shall have skills in typing/keyboarding, organizing, use of Microsoft Office Professional applications, use of LAN computing operations, analyzing problems, assist with generating flowcharts, familiarization with Basic Internet Security requirements, advanced web-based computer capabilities, Information Awareness policies, and the safekeeping of Personal Identifying Information (PII), and related Privacy Act Data.
The individual shall maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, security requirements, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures relating to all web-interfaced database PASS products. Ability to provide status reports of newly developing programs [DoD-wide], data base systems, multimedia user interface(s) and social media trends. Recommend appropriate modifications in writing, with reference materials customized to meet deficiencies or related concerns.

Requirements: Basic math skills using a calculator, detail-oriented and accurate. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise initiative in gathering, assembling, collating and analyzing information for completion of projects. Ability to work independently, as part of a team, with strong customer service, telephone skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
