IT Specialists (INFOSEC) are a mission critical occupation for HRSA. These positions are responsible for the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency's Information Technology operations. This position is involved in the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency's Information Technology operations. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) IT Specialist, you serve as the principal advisor to HRSA's Chief Information Officer and other senior executives on all substantive matters pertaining to HRSA information technology operations and security services. Specifically, you will:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. DATA GATHERING AND ANALYSIS - Seeks or collects and synthesizes information from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective, unbiased manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment, and to enable strategic and leadership decision making.
