This role has responsibility to manage Business IT requirements associated with Master Data format, quality and feed issues. This includes cross-functional review and fit/gap assessment of all requirements, ensuring alignment of architecture solutions across all process/domain areas. The IT Solution architect will also advise on business projects with master data implications and work with CONA and/or Shared Services to recommend solutions to meet the business requirement.
The incumbent must have the ability to manage multiple process and solutions development initiatives within their functional/technical area(s).
This role will have the ability to create, champion, and drive the development and deployment of new architecture solutions, services and technologies that align with agreed guiding principles, strategy and destination architecture.
Duties and Responsibilities
Anticipates obstacles and objectives and proactively develops options to solve problems, while effectively managing conflict and risk.
Develops productive working relationships with client area, cross-functional teams and/or groups.
Coordinate with Shared Service, CBS, business functions, CONA and AC-IT on master data architecture, standards, modifications, and enhancements
Test and manage CONA releases related to MDM, raise defects, track progress in testing and ensure Business Continuity.
Ensure the performance and the reliability of the MDM capabilities on CONA SAP and non-CONA applications.
Works with CONA Team in defining user requirements, prepare detail specifications, coordinating system-wide testing updates on CONA SAP new releases.
Provide recommendations for enhancements/changes that may involve custom design, optional and third-party products to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of MDM systems.
Provide level 3 ticket resolution and coordinate and monitor AC-IT on level 2 tickets for CONA master data related issues (including non-CONA data feeds).
Consult with users on technology changes that will impact work processes.
Manage all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Process analysis and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
Identify project impacts on Business Process Models (ARIS).
Design solutions that ensure most sustainable, flexible and cost appropriate solutions & technology platforms.
Ensure documentation, deliverables, and governance follows standard architecture management process and delivers expected results.
Drives results, influences others and works across all areas of the Company as necessary.
B.S. or B.A. in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related business process area required
Related Masters’ degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT technical and functional role, preferably in an SAP ERP type environment.
2 year’ experience with SAP Master Data
