General Statement of DutiesThe IT Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects on time, on budget, in scope and to the required quality & success specifications of the Customer Engagement and Quality Assurance teams. The IT Project Manager’s role is to help with creation of project charters/business cases, follow a project methodology, provide project artifacts, escalate risks and issues, and deliver projects with direct support of the Information Technology Services (ITS) project teams and the IT Project Management Office. The IT Project Manager develops the detailed project management and execution plan for assigned projects and implements them together with the assigned project team. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager is also responsible for working with ITS project teams, contractors, and sourcing partners to complete required work.

Minimum Education and ExperienceGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, computer information systems, or related area; plus, four years of experience directly managing information technology projects. Strong Agile/Scrum background is a plus. Project Management Professional and/or Certified Associate in Project Management certification required. Additional related work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required formal education.
