As an PC Technician, you will be the primary responsible party for all non-WMS IT functions at our Keller, TX warehouse. You will play an important role in local access security, maintaining operational readiness, and implementing new technology solutions in a distribution center environment.
Maintain corporate, local, and customer networks, including access points, switches, cabling, servers, etc)
Primary point of contact for site computer privileges; create and delete users, maintain permissions, and regularly audit for accuracy
Troubleshoot and install office and warehouse printers; become local expert in industrial Zebra printers
Provide local desktop admin support, including imaging, hardware troubleshooting, assisting upgrades, resource allocation/re-allocation, and other tasks as needed
Maintain telephone and cellular equipment onsite
Maintain and order perishable IT assets (toner, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.)
Other duties as assigned by management
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong organizational and communication skills
A and Network -equivalent experience or training
Network skills including troubleshooting and setting up routers, switches, AP’s, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on limited basis, and to stand, sit, and walk as needed
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Willingness to work up to 40 feet in the air, on an articulating boom lift
Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
At least 3-5 years’ experience in networking within a distribution center environment
