SUMMARY: The IT Manager is a new position and will report to the Director of Information Technologies. This role will involve working with multiple disciplines within the technology systems used at My Choice Family Care. This would include but not be limited to project management, application development process management, applications portfolio management, Security planning, resource management and planning, support and planning for network capacity and software package integration planning and implementation. The role would be to take on the day to day operations for My Choice Family Care Information Technologies and to work with the development team in ERP related projects to ensure those projects are developed on time and with the expected quality. This would include the full life cycle of the development process from project inception through deployment, training, and project follow up. The role will include interacting with the stakeholders of the projects to ensure we are meeting their needs and assisting in the definition and execution of client-side deployment plans. This position will have the development staff reporting to them including internal My Choice Staff both onshore and offshore. It will require a pragmatic approach to problem solving and development of solutions with an eye toward emerging technologies and integration of external toolsets into the environment when the results identify an appropriate use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the application project portfolio including all steps within the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) including providing direction on the scope of requests, direction on the solution provided, managing the QA process, assistance with client management during the delivery of software, support of client deployment processes and creation of project schedules with a focus on maintaining timelines and project budget.
