King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in support of our California offices. This position is responsible for business services staff recruiting, new employee orientation and special projects as assigned by the Associate Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager.

Candidates will have the following responsibilities:
Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills In order to effectively project the image of the Firm. Strong interpersonal skills are needed in order to work with many types of personalities daily. Candidates should have strong organizational skills to control high volume paperwork, systems transactions and interaction with firm lawyers and administrative staff. Candidates must be able to work with a high degree of independence. They should have the ability to exercise good judgment. Candidates will also have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with lawyers and various levels of business services employees as well as external clients and vendors. A Bachelor’s degree is required. At least two years of previous comparable law firm experience is preferred. Previous experience with an HRIS platform such as Ultipro or Workday is preferred.
