TOTAL COMPENSATION: $118,885.78 - $160,419.84 annually. Total compensation is an estimate based upon base compensation, median retirement fund contributions, and current employer-paid health and related benefit contribution rates (including medical, dental, life insurance, long term disability, and leave). The actual total will vary depending upon each employee's enrollment choices.
(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following)
Plans, organizes and manages the development, presentation, implementation and control of the County budget. Analyzes revenue projections and operating costs and recommends adjustments as necessary to ensure that the financial health of the County is maintained.
Supervises department staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluation and discipline.

Assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) in providing organizational leadership and strategic financial >
Works with Information Technology Department and other parties involved in developing county automated financial systems.
Assists in the development and administration of the County's capital improvement plan.
Represents the County in finance related dealings with other public and private entities including the negotiation and administration of grants, contracts, and interlocal service agreements.
Assists in the County issuance of short and long term debt, coordinating the activities of outside professionals including bond counsel, underwriters and financial advisers to meet the County's financing objectives.
Advises the CEO and COO on changes in organization, staffing, work processing and management systems to increase effectiveness and efficiency and reduce administrative costs.
Advises the CEO, COO and BOCC in the fiscal aspects of Board policies, goals and administrative procedures.
Assists and supports the BOCC, CEO and COO in promoting, establishing, and maintaining effective relationships with elected officials, other boards, governmental agencies, community organizations and citizens.
Meets, confers with and makes presentations to local, state and federal governmental agencies, civic and professional groups and the media on behalf of the BOCC and CEO as authorized and >
