Marcum Search has a non-profit client in NYC with an immediate FULL TIME job opening for a Business System Analyst / Business Support Analyst to help with requirement gathering, testing, and implementation of new and existing business applications. Candidates must have excellent level knowledge of Health Clinic related technology and processes and at least 3 years of experience working with medical applications and productivity tools in a mid to large size organization. Business Support Analyst Position Summary Key member of Information Technology team reporting to the Director Business Applications. Collaborates with Health & Wellness staff (H&W), IT colleagues, vendors and others. Participates in new project efforts, software updates, new feature implementation, data management, reporting and anything necessary or required to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the H&W and teams Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities Liaise with Health & Wellness business units and master current business processes and applications. Identify and learn other applications and other tools used and supported by the organization and IT Participate in functional design and requirements/needs analysis, RFP development, vendor assessment and make or buy decision process. Prepare appropriate documents – BRD, Use Cases, Process Flows, UA test cases, Traceability Matrices, program, system, operational and Business user documentation as required. Perform or assist in application configuration and deployments. Participate in the design, development, and delivery of training programs and individual classes. Assist in the testing process, execute and document the tests necessary to ensure an application or technical environment meets performance requirements (technical, functional and Business user interface). Ensure new software, related fixes and/or enhancements are tested successfully by key Business/program areas and supporting IT areas. Work closely with vendors and others to resolve problems Assist in problem resolution. Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution. Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required. Communicate application problems and issues to key business and IT stakeholders Analyze and correct functionality problems - Identifying new methods of improving performance and stability. Apply excellent interpersonal communications and collaboration skills to help achieve the goals of a high-performing, motivated team. Additional Positions Requirements: Experience with eCW or AccuMed Electronic Health Records a plus. Strong understanding of technology and its impact Expertise with Visio, MS-Project, MS-Office, BA Methodologies and documentation including use cases, Process flow, UA test cases.
