The Microsoft Solutions Organization is looking for a Business Administrator for the Microsoft Solutions Executive office. Someone who has excellent organization and communication skills combined with a great positive attitude, strong initiative and high energy. To succeed in this role you must be able to multi-task and pro-actively anticipate the needs of the team. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief of Staff and any additional support team within the executive office. Responsibilities This position offers a variety of primary administrative functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, calendar management, coordinating and scheduling meetings, event planning and coordination, travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, asset/headcount/space tracking, new hire setups, and being an integrated member of the team. This person will work closely with the other Business Administrators within the Microsoft Solutions Organization, and will develop strong working relationships as part of the admin team. This position requires initiative, good judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality, setting priorities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work independently and professionally at all levels. Candidates must be extremely resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity. They must possess solid problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, be able to work effectively under pressure. They must work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside the group, and accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals. Qualifications Qualifications: 3 - 5 years demonstrated work experience in a fast-pace administrative capacity or related work field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems required; proficiency on internal MS tools (Headtrax, MS Space, MS Market, Assetlink, etc.) preferred. Effective written and verbal communications skills required. BA/BS degree preferred. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
