Coordinates billing process by preparing and mailing accurate and complete bills to patients and third party payers. Manages Government Payer Mix Accounts Receivable by collecting maximum
monies. Coordinates Government HMO logs of outstanding claims and issues for Managed Care payer meetings. Manages the appropriate action for credit balances to ensure correct refunds to payers. Coordinates Medicaid Audits with other payer areas.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Minumim two years patient accounting or related work experience. Prefer a two-year degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent experience typically four years. Prefer two years supervisory experience, which includes selection, evaluation, and termination.
