The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting support to all major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation. They will complete the day-to-day entry of vendor bills, customer invoices and cash receipts. They will also perform weekly checks of entry accuracy and assist in monthly reconciliation and report creation. The Accounting Specialist is detail-oriented, able to think critically and work independently, keeps reasonable deadlines, and assisting in the development of protocol and process-improvements. This position reports to the Operations Manager and has no direct reports.
