Overview of Job Function: The Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, meticulous and analytical Accounting Manager that will report to the CFO. He / She will Manage A/P, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger Management, etc. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Accounting, a minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience, have an Associate’s Degree or higher in accounting or similar field, be knowledgeable with Excel and QuickBooks, and be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Reports to CFO and Communicates all activities to CFO
Full ownership of the accounts payable function including:
Timely, accurate and complete vendor payments with constant focus on process improvement
